The journey of a lifetime

All three of us walked out. "Hello Mosquitosting." Morningdew spoke dipping her head. "It has been a while." as she spoke she looked at the huge scar on her chest he had left before. I flicked my tail and stared at the three Windclan cats, Deathberry was staring also, he looked at me with a look I couldn't deny. We both knew Morningdew had some SERIOUS problems with Mosquitosting.

Mosquitosting drew his lips back in the form of a snarl, but Spottedtree stopped him. "We are not Shaadowclan.....Do not kill cats for seeming no reason." Spottedtree nodded to Deathberry. I turned around when a small wailing interrupted the silence. I sniffed it out, only to find a small gray kitten. No. Not of any clan. It was abandoned. I picked it up lightly in my jaws and carried it to the moonstone.

Deathberry stared Spottedtree and nodded. "Lets go." I muttered and we all walked with the Windclan cats.

"I love being a medicine cat," Spottedtree mewed, looking at the tom. "We don't fight often."

Deathberry nodded. "Yes. I am a warrior, but my brother is a medicine cat." he paused, he couldn't stop staring at this She-cat..."Perhaps you've met him? His name is Marshclaw."

"Maybe.... Oh yes i do! I remember mommy telling me about him when he was a kit. I remember you, of course. Who could forget a face like that?" She smiled, then looked away, embarrassed.

Deathberry kept on walking. "His name is Marshclaw, and I haven't forgot your face either." he purred.

Spottedtree's face was blood red. "Um one second." as she walked past her tail slid across his face. "Lemo. Does he like me?" she turned and walked off the path. "Thanks, Lemo." She walked back. "I'm back." she smiled.

I smiled, "So, do you know him?" I asked.

"Oh.....Yes." I shook my head. "Do you want to meet Lemo? Lemo boy, come here!" A lemur jumped onto my shoulder and glared at Deathberry. "Down." The lemur laid down.

I nodded at the lemur, "Sooo...." I mewed

The lemur smiled. "As she has told you, i am Lemo." the lemur spoke. "Do you like her?" Lemo asked. Spottedtree's eyes got wide as she backed away.

I stared at the lemor and ran to Morningdew's side

Spottedtree hung her head. "How am i even surprised...." she spat at herself.

I whispered something to Morningdew and she nodded. I padded back to Spottedtree and smiled. "I'm back." I mewed.

"Hi." she mewed, irritated.

I tilted my head. "What's a matter?" I meowed, worry in my mew.

"Nothing..." she lied

I nudged her with my nose, "C'mon, whats wrong." I paused. "Did I hurt you?"

"Not directly...." she mewed,

"Well, I'm sorry. I was just caught off gaurd by Lemo's sudden question." I shot a glance at Lemo.

Lemo nodded " can take a hint." he scrambled up the tree branches

I smiled. "And by the way. The answer to his question...is yes. Yes, I like you Spottedtree."

"I like you to.....but.....our clans..... And me being a medicine cat....." she shook her head, clearing her thoughts.

I shook my head "I know..." I meowed. I pricked my ears when I heard Morningdew meowed that we were there.
