The journey of a lifetime

"Wipe that smirk off your face before i claw it off." she mewed playfully.

"I was smiling." I mewed back pawing her ear.

Cheetahkit laughed and a light brown shape walked past. "Wolfpaw. I can scent you. Come out." Cheetahkit looked up when the brown and black-spotted cat walked out. "Hey, Cheetahkit." Wolfpaw mewed. "Hows the Clan, bro?" Cheetahkit mewed to her brother. "Great, great."

I shot up and hissed at Wolfpaw, "Hey! It's you!"

"Yeah it's me?" Wolfpaw looked at the kit in confusion, then he suddenly remembered who she was. "Ah. Ivykit." Wolfpaw mewed, protectively wrapping his tail around his smaller sister. "Wolfpaw, don't hurt her." Cheetahkit meowed, licking her brother's chest fur. Wolfpaw straightened. "Wolfvenom." he corrected her. "You're a Warrior?" Cheetahkit asked, astonished. "Mhm." Wolfvenom said, smiling.

I glared at him, "The only reason was, because you attack my camp! You monster!" I growled.

Cheetahkit stared at Ivykit. "Please. He just wanted to do what he tought was right for Windclan....and to please Snburn." Wolfvenom stared at his little ister and wailed, "How did you know!" Cheetahkit smiled. "I'm sure any of Tigerstar's offspring would be able to tell." Wolfvenom stared at Cheetahkit, alrm flaring in his eyes. Cheetahkit drew back and straightened herself. "I mean, any cat could tell."

I turned my face away from them, "I'm going." I murmered, padding away without a goodbye.

Cheetahkit hopped after her and stuck her tail in the air. "Where we going? Shouldn't we wait for your dad?"

I sighed lightly and kept walking, "I just want to get away from HIM." I mewed.

Lynxpaw flicked her tail to dismiss her older brother. She let out a sigh and turned to look at Ivykit. "You know now. Don't you? About Tigerstar?"

I tilted my head in confusion, "No...I'm just a kit 'ya know...and since my dad is all protective, that doesn't make it any better..." I grumbled the last part.

"My father was Tigerstar." She breathed out, each breath seeming to make her weaker. "My mother was a cat named Thrushcloud, she killed her leader and the deputy of her Clan."
